Naples/Casablanca: A journey by bus - Emiliano Cavicchi

A three days bus travel from Naples, Italy, to Casablanca, Morocco: the cheapest, and sometime the only, way for more Moroccan immigrants to come back home. introduction

Somewhere close to Central Garibaldi Station of Naples. The first contact for the travel is in the square in front of the station. There you can pay in cash the ticket. Later the line of travellers walks away towards this lonely meeting point street.

Boarding the luggages in the bus. Mohammed, on the right, is seventeen years old and is a construction worker. He speaks perfectly as a native the complicate Naples dialect more than italian.

The bus is chosen to travel also by family, as this mother and daughter of Casablanca.

Before Gibralter, Spain. The bus stops before the Gibralter's Strait and unloads some merchandise that couldn t pass through the control border. They will be loaded on little ships getting around the police and to sail to Moroccan coast.
